With a traditionally paper-thin squad due to manager Arsene Wenger's reported undecisiveness on and unwillingness to spend (at least until recently) on the transfer market, the Gunners manager has somehow managed to do worse this season, playing an exhausted and hobbled Alexis Sanchez agaisnt Norwich only to see him carted off.

The Chilean joins a long midfield sick list that involves Jack Wilshere to an ankle tear, Francis Coquelin to a medial ligament tear, Mikel Arteta to a calf strain and Santi Cazorla to an LCL tear.

Tomas Rosicky's knee will likely trouble him past Chrstimas.

The solution? According to the Metro, Arsenal are interested in bringing in PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

We frankly hope they get this done quickly, because the young Frenchman's last two transfer sagas involved plenty of drama... only for him to stay put in Paris, where he is far from happy.
