Arsenal won't allow Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain leave for rivals

Arsenal have told their players’ Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain that they cannot leave for a rival club in the Premier League.

According to the Daily Star, the pair won’t be permitted to exit the Gunners, amid rumours that Sanchez was set to leave for Manchester City and Chamberlain for Liverpool, despite the two are both entering their final year of their contracts with the club.

It is thought that Gunner boss Arsene Wenger and owner Stan Kroenke have decided to put their foot down regarding departures, and they will not let their players be seen at another potential title rival.

28-year-old Chilean international Sanchez was one of the main sources of positivity for Arsenal last season, where they missed out on a Champions League spot but won the F.A Cup, beating eventual winners Chelsea 2-1 at Wembley Stadium.
But now, following his reported wage demands, supporters are growing tired of the whole saga, and want the whole thing to be done with.
