Bakayoko to Chelsea is a done deal as Blues announce their third summer signing
Chelsea have failed to announce the player’s transfer fee but according to Transfermarkt, the Frenchman has joined the Stamford Bridge hierarchy for € 40 million.
Bakayoko had also been linked with a move to Manchester United but doubts over his future ended yesterday when he posted a picture from Chelsea’s training ground ahead of his medical with the Premier League champions.
Bakayoko is the third summer signing of Chelsea after Antonio Rudiger and Willy Caballero. The arrival of the 22-year-old, however, may push Nemanja Matic out of Stamford Bridge with the Serbian who is tipped to join either Juve or Inter although Chelsea’s asking price is € 45 million.
Welcome to Chelsea, @TimoeB08!
