Barcelona alerted as Verratti tells Psg he’s not going to return to Paris

Barcelona are looking to strengthen their midfield and it is no secret that Marco Verratti is their number one target. The La Liga giants have reportedly open talks with Psg to sign the Italian star but the French club do not want to listen to any offer for the former Pescara man.

Verratti, however, wants to move to Barcelona and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport he has already made clear that he’s not going to make return to Paris in the summer.

The Italian paper claims Verratti has sent a text message to representatives of the club informing them that is not going to return to Paris and confirming that he wants to move to Barcelona.

As we reported yesterday, the blaugrana are ready to bid almost € 100 million to sign the top class playmaker who is also wanted in Germany where his former boss Carlo Ancelotti would welcome him with open arms at Bayern Munich.
