Reports from Spain suggest that Barcelona will make a move for Italian winger Federico Bernardeschi if they fail to get their hands on Ousmane Dembele. The 20-year-old Borussia Dortmund player has emerged as one of new boss Ernesto Valverde’s primary summer transfer targets and has been heavily linked in recent weeks with a move to the Camp Nou.
 

Diario Gol (via Starsport) claims that Valverde is looking for rotation next season to take the pressure off of Messi, Suarez and Neymar but the portal understands that Dembele himself is not too keen on a move to the Camp Nou. The Blaugrana have moved quickly to eye up an alternative however, and the player in question is the 23-year-old Bernardeschi who has rejected a new deal in Tuscany. 

There is competition for his signature with Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti a huge admirer of the player who has emerged as one of Italy’s most exciting young talents.
