Barcelona: Inesta warns Juve over potential summer move
Iniesta returned to the starting line-up, Barcelona winning the game 0-1 with the post-match seemingly indicating a that the player may renew his contract. The midfielder’s contract expires in 2018 and has been negotitating his extension in order to continue his stay at the club. Juventus however have made their intentions to sign the Barcelona captain once his contract expires and he becomes a free agent.
Iniesta told BeIn Sports the following: "I think the good news is coming soon," indicating that an agreement may be forthcoming within the next couple of weeks.
This will greatly disappoint Juventus who eyed Iniesta for a key position in Max Allegri’s midfield, and a star that could take the Bianconeri to the next level.
