Barcelona join Arsenal and Juventus in race to sign exciting Serie A starlet
The Ivorian midfielder is delivering stunning performances in his first campaign in Italy’s top flight having netted six goals and registered two assists in the opening 13 games of the season. The 19-year-old is tipped to become the new Patrick Vieira and has attracted the interest of the best European clubs out there.
Arsenal, Juventus and Inter are being scouting the former Cesena man for very long time but Barcelona scout Robert Fernandez was also left impressed by the Atalanta wonderkid during last week-end’s Serie A clash Atalanta-Roma.
The blaugrana are now also monitoring the situation of the 19-year-old midfielder who is very likely to leave his club at the end of the season given the growing interest of many top European clubs.
According to reports in Spain, Robert Fernandez went to Bergamo to scout AS Roma’s Bruno Peres who is one of Barcelona’s defence targets for the role of right-back, but with the blaugrana also looking for a back-up to Sergio Busquets, Kessié has been added to the LaLiga giants’ shopping list.
