Barcelona join Liverpool, Juve in race for €25m Bayern star
The Bayern Munich star has struggled to find a regular starting place this season, attracting feelers from Liverpool and Juventus, as well as other teams.
Sport confirm that Barcelona are studying a move for the €30 million Brazilian international, who wants to play regularly, starting only 14 Bundesliga games.
The Blaugrana want the midfielder for his speed and dribbling skills. Costa has a Portuguese passport, too, so he doesn’t count as an extra-European player.
German newspaper Bild recently confirmed that Bayern were ready to get rid of both Costa (who hasn’t got the role he had under Pep Guardiola) and Renato Sanches, who has seen even less of the pitch than his Brazilian team-mate.
Juventus were reported to have made a €25 million bid for the Selecao man, who doesn’t want to miss the plane for Russia 2018.
