Barcelona star hints he may be open to a move to Juventus this summer

With the future of Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta still shrouded in uncertainty, the player himself has been talking to radio show Onda Cero about why he is yet to commit to a new deal at the Camp Nou. The 33-year-old, who has been linked with a shock move to Italian giants Juventus this summer, explained that; “There’s no economic issue concerning the renewal. You have tio factor in personal issues and like I have stated many times before, I want to evaluate many things before making my decision”.

He went on to add that; “I feel good, I am calm and I will consider the proposal from Barcelona. Surely if I do not play for them again I will certainly not be playing against them for another Spanish team and I want to make that very clear. My dream has always been to retire wearing these colours and I’ve no reason to change that. My heart and my head however, tell me to evaluate certain things before deciding”.

Juventus have made two of the most high-profile free-transfers in recent years with Andrea Pirlo, Sami Khedira and Dani Alves all arriving in Turin as free-agents; if they were land the services of one of the world’s best players over the past 10 years, then it would surely top anything that has gone before.
