Bayern Munich three-man shortlist to replace Ancelotti revealed

Bayern Munich have sacked Carlo Ancelotti after less than two months in the 2017/18 campaign. The Italian tactician will be temporarily replaced by his assistant Willy Sagnol but the former Frances star is not going to remain in charge of the Bavarians for long.

According to Sky Sport the Bundesliga giants have a three-man shortlist to replace the former Chelsea and AC Milan boss.

Julian Nagelsmann, 30, is the leading candidate to take over at the Allianz Arena but the talented young coach is currently contracted with Hoffenheim and is not expected to leave his club in the current campaign.

Thorsten Fink could be picked as interim boss as it would be pretty simple for him to cancel his contract with Austria Wien, still according to Sky.

The last candidate to take over at Bayern Munich is Thomas Tuchel who was sacked by Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season and could join the Bavarians in the current campaign.

Any of these three managers could become the successor of Ancelotti after his 14-month spell in Germany.
