Breaking: Bellerin tells Arsenal he wants to leave

Arsenal wing-back Hector Bellerin has told the club that he wants to leave the club this summer window amid rumours linking the Spaniard back to his former side Barcelona.

The La Liga giants are in need of a right-back and reports have suggested that they are after their former player. The Daily Express are now stating that, following his time away in the Under-21 European Championships in Poland, that the 22-year-old does indeed want to move on from the North London club.

The right-back was part of Arsenal’s mixed 2016/17 season, where they won the F.A Cup but couldn’t manage to claim yet another Champions League spot.
The Catalan club can indeed offer Bellerin Champions League football and also, presumably, regular first-team action.

The club have been without a first choice right-back ever since Dani Alves departed for European rivals Juventus, and now look to be the new destination of Bellerin.
