    Benatia closer to Juve as Koulibaly could join Bayern

    Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has declared that his team’s defender Kalidou Koulibaly won’t leave and that he will fine the French-born Senegalese defender because of the statement he released. However, as reported by Bild, Bayern Munich are ready to make an offer for the 24-year-old.
    The former Genk man would like to renew his contract, and his agent will try to solve the situation with De Laurentiis, but the azzurri can’t satisfy his salary requests, while, on the contrary, the German club could offer him up to €4 million per season.
    Die Roten, who have recently signed Mats Hummels, want Koulibaly to replace Mehdi Benatia. The latter –as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport- is ready to reduce his salary to join AS Roma, but the giallorossi are doubtful about the physical conditions of the Morocco international. On the contrary, Juventus have contacted the Bundesliga champions about the 28-year-old himself.
