Benfica are monitoring the progress of Giovanni Simeone, son of Atletico Madrid coach Diego. The 20-year-old striker is owned by River Plate but is currently out on-loan at Banfield. Portuguese sports daily A Bola states that the current league champions have his name in their notebook as a possible summer arrival. The player's current market-value is believed to be around €8 million.
