Benitez: 'Are Milan the favourites? They were in Istanbul as well...'

He's not José Mourinho but he has quickly learnt how to be sharp. Rafa Benitez spoke about Milan on the eve of Inter's match against Udinese: "Football has changed a bit. This week I have heard it said that the Rossoneri are favourites to win everything. They said the same in Istanbul when I faced the Rossoneri with Liverpool. They said it until the end of the first half of that match, but then something changed..."

Then he spoke about the market: "We waited to see if it was possible to buy a few players, then I spoke with president Moratti and Marco Branca and we know what we have done and what we have to do," explained the Spaniard. "I think it's more intelligent to talk about the future than the past. President Moratti has made economic sacrifices for many years and he will have his reasons if he has decided to stop for this season. This team is strong and it has quality. We have to recover the mentality we had last year."
