Milan will wait until the very last second of the transfer market window to complete the deal of the season signing Carlos Tevez from Manchester City.

President Silvio Berlusconi had a meeting with his children in Arcore to study a financial plan for the Argentine striker. In times of crisis, the Rossoneri owner must discuss with his family about such an hefty investment.

Meanwhile, Adriano Galliani held a controversial press conference.

“I always said that we would have signed either Maxi Lopez or Tevez. We got Lopez so Tevez is not expected,” said the Rossoneri Vice-President.

“However, in the transfer market you never know. Let’s see what happens. Of course if Manchester City called me up and said they want to give us Tevez for free plus a couple of oil wells...

“I will be in our offices until 7pm tomorrow. If we were to receive an email or a fax, who knows...” concluded Galliani leaving a door open for the signing of Carlitos.
