60 appearances and seven goals in little more than two seasons, a relationship interrupted due to a lack of commitment and months spent training away from the first-team squad. Kevin-Prince Boateng’s time with Schalke 04 has been eventful to say the least. Now the Ghana international begins life in La Liga with Las Palmas and the 29-year-old has been speaking to German magazine Kicker about his time in the Bundesliga.
 

He explained that; “I think I left my impression at Schalke; even today when you read about the club my name is still mentioned. There has never been a player at the club that has created as much interest as me; this is the impression I’ve left behind. Positive or negative, I always tried to do my best to help the team. I could not do anymore”.
