Bonucci reveals AC Milan 'minimum target'

AC Milan star Bonucci attended a pre-match press conference in Milanello on Wednesday afternoon ahead of the rossoneri Europa League clash against Rijeka.

“We lost against Sampdoria and that should have not happened. I am ready to react and I want to be an important part of this group. I can play in a three or in a four man defence, there is no difference for me. My performances do not depend on the system. I must do more because I am a leader of his team.”

“We need to learn how to deal with two games a week. The Sampdoria defeat must be a lesson for all of us. It’s vital to be always ready and mentally strong to face so many games all together.”

“I am not happy with his performances because I made many mistakes. As I said I want to react and improve. Critics have always motivated me. It happened when I was at Juve and the same will happen now.”

“We must solve our problems and win games, a club like AC Milan must always solve its problems, there is no time to look at the past, we need to be among the top Serie A clubs and qualify for the Champions League, that’s our minimum target.”
