Bonucci to Milan - the details of the operation

Leonardo Bonucci is set to become a Milan player after the Rossoneri agreed a €40M fee with Juventus for the 30-year-old Italian international. Sky Sport 24 is also reporting that a further €2M will made in bonus payments. Bonucci himself will sign a five-year-deal with the club earning €6.5M net per-season plus bonus. The player is expected at Casa Milan shortly to undergo a medical before completing his shock move.

The news has come as a shock to all Juventus fans who never expected that the player who joined the Bianconeri as a schoolboy, would leave to play for another club in Serie A. Bonucci was heavily linked with a move to both Manchester City and Chelsea but it’s believed that his wife wanted to stay in the peninsula and that she has already been house hunting in the city.

The player, along with his agent Alessandro Lucci arrived at Vinovo this morning to say farewell to his colleagues before embarking on his new adventure.
