Brazilian star left out of Inter squad for Sampdoria clash, why?
De Boer spoke encouraging words for Gabigol in the pre-match press conference yesterday, but has failed to include him in the squad for the incoming Serie A game.
“He has great qualities, but he still has to understand our philosophy. When he dribbles, he doesn’t need to look at the ball, which is astonishing, that’s not something everybody can do.”
Gabigol’s exclusion, however, is not due to physical problems. Inter have announced in an official statement that Kondogbia and Yao have not been called due to injuries, whilst the Serie A side do not mention physical problems for either Gabigol or Jovetic, who will also watch his teammates on the TV tonight.
Gabigol has just played 16 minutes in Serie A so far this season, making his debut in the second half of Inter’s home Serie A game against Bologna.
