Breaking: AC Milan identify their no.1 replacement for Donnarumma

AC Milan have identified their number one replacement for Gianluigi Donnarumma who is going to leave the rossoneri in the summer or at the end of his contract in 2018. The player’s agent Mino Raiola informed AC Milan representatives yesterday that his client does not want to sign a contract extension with them.

According to a report of Sky Sport, AC Milan have made contact with the agent of Mattia Perin to sound out the player’s availability to move to the San Siro in the summer.

Perin is one of Italy’s most promising goalkeepers but the Italian shot-stopper has been suffering two knee injuries during the last couple of seasons and there are still concerns regarding his fitness.

According to Sky Italia Perin is AC Milan’s leading candidate to replace Donnarumma, although the rossoneri are also monitoring other possible replacements such as Juventus’ Neto whose agent was also contacted by Massimiliano Mirabelli yesterday after that Raiola had informed him and Fassone about his client’s final decision. AC Milan are about to make an opening € 8 million bid for Perin but Genoa want much more than that whilst Juve are open to sell Neto for € 10 million.
