Breaking: Bayern to sack Ancelotti after PSG disaster

Carlo Ancelotti is set to leave Bayern Munich, according to ESPNFC’s sources.

Bayern have started the season, and are third after losing to Hoffenheim and drawing 2-2 with Wolfsburg.

The Italian Coach saw his Bavarian side go down 3-0 to PSG last night in Paris, their biggest Champions League loss in 21 years, prompting Bayern to hold emergency talks with the three-time Champions League winner.

The Allianz Arena side never seems to have taken to Ancelotti, whose side didn’t play exciting football last season.

Rumours from the locker room indicated that the players weren’t on the Italian’s side, either, with the exclusion of Thomas Muller particularly grating some.

The German side is set to announce the news this afternoon.

CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge warned that there would be consequences after the Bavarian side’s meek performance.

Assistant Willy Sagnol is expected to take over in the short term, though sacked Borussia Dortmund Coach Thomas Tuchel has also been linked.
