    DIEGO PEROTTI UNDERGOES ROMA MEDICAL

    The deal is nearly done. Diego Perotti has just played his last game as a Genoa player and, if rumors coming from Sky Sport Italia are to be believed, he will land in Rome this afternoon before undergoing Roma medical tomorrow morning.

    Talking to journalists after the Fiorentina game (0-0), Genoa boss Giampiero Gasperini confirmed that the Argentinean star’s departure is imminent.

    “He will play for a team with different ambitions”, the Grifone boss told Sky Sport Italia.
     The former Sevilla FC winger should leave Genoa today at 8.20 pm landing in Rome one hour later.

    Roma will pay € 1 million for the 27-year-old loan, but they have an option to make his Olimpico move permanent for  a fee of € 9 million at the end of the current campaign.

    UPDATE: The Argentinean winger has landed in Rome to undergo medical in Villa Stuart. He is expected to sign his contract tonight or tomorrow.
