Breaking: Inter and PSG discussing Liverpool target

Inter and PSG directors are currently in a meeting, and the topic of conversation is Lucas Moura, Calciomercato understands.

Reporter Pasquale Guarro writes that PSG are open to talks over Moura's future, but want 40m for their man, and Inter want to pay less than that.

New Coach Luciano Spalletti has given the move the green light, too.

The Brazilian joined PSG for €40 million in 2013, and has been linked to Liverpool and a number of other clubs. The former Sao Paulo player was very appreciated by Inter at the time, but he chose PSG instead.

He is coming off a reasonable season, punctuated by a strong start and an unsatisfactory second half, in which the 24-year-old struggled for form.

The 24-year-old has still managed 32 Ligue 1 goals in 145 games for PSG.

He recently said that he was happy in Paris, claiming that “to live in Paris - one of the world’s most visited cities - to learn a new language and live among another culture is great.”

“With all the support I have around me, it’s very important for me to try to play the most seasons possible in Paris,” Moura added.

“I want to learn even more, mature as a person and as a player.

“It’s really a fantastic experience, and I’m grateful to God for the gift that he’s given me, namely to be able to play in a club like PSG”.
