Breaking: Lacazette to Arsenal is reportedly a done deal

Arsenal are reported to have completed the signing of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon, according to Telefoot in France. The Premier League giants are set to complete the signing of the French striker for € 53 million making Lacazette the biggest signing in the club’s history.

The 26-year-old will sign a five-year-deal with the Gunners and is set to become a regular starter of the North London club, possibly pushing his compatriot Olivier Giroud out of the Emirates Stadium.

Lacazette had reportedly agreed to join Atletico Madrid a few months ago but the Colchoneros transfer ban prevented the La Liga giants to complete the signing of the Frenchman.

Lyon president Michel Aulas confirmed Lacazette was close to becoming a player of Atletico Madrid but Arsenal have made the most of Diego Simeone’s transfer ban managing to seal the transfer of the highly rated French striker. The deal will reportedly be announced at the beginning of next week with Lacazette set to become Arsenal’s second summer signing after Sead Kolasinac.
