    BREAKING: Leandro Castan agrees personal terms with Sampdoria

    AS Roma centre-back Leandro Castan has agreed terms with Sampdoria, Sky Sport Italia has reported. The Brazilian defender, who was among the most brilliant centre-backs in Serie A only a couple of years ago before he underwent brain surgery, will have medical with the blucerchiati next week.

    Sampdoria have yet to announce their coach for next season as Vincenzo Montella has signed for AC Milan. Both Marco Giampaolo and Stefano Pioli are in race to become the next boss of Sampdoria and the club have reportedly informed both managers about the imminent arrival of Castan.
