Breaking: Bonucci could join Milan in coming hours

Leonardo Bonucci has suddenly emerged as a top transfer target of AC Milan with the player who has reportedly asked Juventus to leave this summer.

Update 1541 BST: Our sources tell us that Bonucci could join the Rossoneri in the coming hours. He has already agreed to the Rossoneri's €6 million wages.

He could join the Rossoneri tomorrow, and go on Milan's summer pre-season tour.

His agent Alessandro Lucci has offered Bonucci to AC Milan and the rossoneri have already opened talks over the 30-year-old defender who has reportedly agreed a € 7 million-a-year deal at the San Siro.

Calciomercato.com can exclusively report that the player is pushing to move to AC Milan. Bonucci wants to join the San Siro hierarchy as soon as possible and in this moment there is an ongoing meeting between his agent and Juventus’ CEO Beppe Marotta.

Juventus are not open to sell their stars but their policy changes every time a top player hands in  a transfer request.

Bonucci did nothing to play down transfer speculations with a recent post on Facebook and according to Sky Sport Juventus have told AC Milan that the player can leave for €40 million but without Mattia De Sciglio included in the deal.
