Breaking: Real president agrees for Man United to sign Morata

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has agreed for Manchester United to come in and buy Alvaro Morata. This comes after several weeks of rumours linking both the Spanish forward and the Red Devils.

Reports coming out on Spanish outlet Diario Gol via the Daily Star are saying that a meeting was held between Real and Morata’s father and agent, and that the meeting was a positive discussion with regards to the striker’s future, with President Perez reportedly stating that he would be happy to let the star leave for Old Trafford if the price is right.

The reining La Liga champions are asking for £61m for the player’s services, nothing less, but it is thought that Man United boss Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer of the 24-year-old, so a switch to the Premier League could be imminent.

Morata, who was once a loan signing of Serie A side Juventus,  had a mixed season for Real last season, not featuring regularly but still netting an impressive 20 goals for the Champions League winners.
