Breaking: Real want €90m for Morata, Man Utd move may be off

Alvaro Morata’s move to Manchester United may have encountered another snag.

Real Madrid are alleged by the Independent to have ramped up the price again, probably discouraging the Red Devils from buying the 24-year-old.

The Spanish international wants to leave because of the secondary role he is playing at the Bernabeu. Barely starting more than fifteen Liga games last season, the former Juventus man had agreed to terms with Milan a few weeks ago, but that whole trail seems to have gone cold.

More recently, of course, Morata was very close to Manchester United, with reports this morning indicating that the two clubs had agreed to a 74 million transfer.

Trouble is, it looks like Real are fighting a sort of rearguard action, and that, as Goal report, the 80 million offered by the Red Devils aren’t enough: Florentino Perez still wants 90m.

The Spaniard scored 27 goals in all competitions over two seasons with Juventus, adding 20 last campaign with the Galacticos.
