Bruno Conti: 'I hope to be with Roma till I die!'

Bruno Conti has a new role at AS Roma. The former winger, club legend and World Cup champion with Italy in 1982 has become the Lupa's Director of as technical coordinator of young player identification and development.

Having extended his contract two days ago, the former head of the Giallorossi's youth setup told Roma TV that he wants to stay with them as long as possible.

"I hope to be at Roma until I die" he told Roma TV "which is why I accepted my new task with great enthusiasm".

Conti, who played for Roma from 1973 to 1991, also revealed that the club's front office "plans to create some satellite teams overseas. It'll be a very important task, I'll dedicate all my passion and professionalism to it".

Remember when we wrote that Juventus were planning to do the same thing? Italy is finally catching up with Europe... even though it's not a practice many fans like.
