Lazio and Calcio legend Giorgio Chinaglia has died at the age of 65 in Florida on Sunday afternoon.

Chinaglia had recently suffered a heart attack and had just recently returned home after being taken to hospital last week.

Born in Carrara, he started his career at Swansea Town before moving to Internapoli and Lazio.

He became a Biancocelesti legend winning the club’s first Scudetto and scoring 98 goals. Chinaglia also played alongside Pele in his spell at NY Cosmos.
