Camorra: game 'sold', a player arrested

Blitz anti-Camorra in Campania, where during the night around twenty people were arrested. Among them the attacker  of Avellino, Cristian Biancone. The 33 year-old former player of Ascoli, Pisa and Foggia is alleged to have altered the outcome of a game (in which he did not enter the pitch) at the time of Sorrento.

The 'nasty business' dating back to April 5, 2009, at the Pro League derby lost 1-0 at home to Juve Stabia. Biancone would have 'sold' the game for 25 000 euro. The decisive goal was scored in the 72' minute by Mineo.
