Cannavaro 'Napoli, I don't feel I am your captain anymore'

Yesterday Napoli president, De Laurentiis had a sharp comment on Paolo Cannavaro: "If he wants to renew his contract he can do it, otherwise he can leave. If Dubai needs him, Dubai is not Napoli, it's a show business were he can get lots of money". Today, Paolo Cannavaro replied: "I am surprised and disappointed for what the president said. For me money is not an issue, I played in Serie B even though I could have left. I don't feel I can be the captain anymore. If there is someone who's more attached to Napoli shirt than me, he can get the band. I repeat, I could have left for free. I have always given everything for this shirt. I train everyday here. It's normal that in a negotiation there are new requests that need to be discussed. My future? I hope we can talk to each other again, but I am shocked now and I want to show who I am".
