Capello not going to become new Inter coach says son

Fabio Capello is not going to replace Roberto Mancini on Inter’s bench, the son of the former Juventus and AC Milan boss has told Sportitalia.

Capello had been previously linked with a move to Inter where he would have covered the role of responsible of the technical area, even if being Roberto Mancini and Inter not on good terms anymore, Capello was also linked with the nerazzurri job last week.

“I can ensure my dad is not going to coach Inter, he works as a commentator and he’s very happy, he’s not going to leave his job”, his son (and agent) has told Sportitalia.

The denial of Capello’s son confirms that Mancini should remain in charge of the San Siro outfit especially after that Inter have agreed to hire his right-hand man Angelo Gregucci as part of the backroom staff.
Mancini is set to meet Inter president Erik Thohir next week to understand the club’s transfer strategies as well as the club’s long-term plans given that his contract with the nerazzurri expires in June 2017.

The former Manchester City boss has been linked with the England and Russia job even if the Russians will probably appoint former Legia Warsaw boss Stanislav Cherchesov as their new coach.
