Caprari: 'Excited to join Inter, I'm far more consistent now'
The 22-year-old smashed in 13 goals for Pescara as the Dolphins earned promotion to Serie A, attracting interest from the likes of Juventus and Inter, the latter of which snapped him up and loaned him back to his current club.
“I’m excited about my move to Inter, they’ve won everything and I’m very happy to have joined them,” Caprari told Premium Sport.
“This year will be the toughest for me. Last season changed me a lot, I was far more consistent, this year will be my consecration.”
Caprari also spoke of the decision to play at least another year with Pescara (“I stayed with Pescara because [Coach Massimo] Oddo appreciate me a lot!”) as well as the possibility of playing against former partner-in-crime Gianluca Lapadula, who joined Milan.
“A derby with Lapadula? Let’s hope we get there! Staying up depends on everyone, Serie A is a tough league. I hope we can have an excellent season”.
