Update: Chelsea are inching closer to Monaco's young sensation
It is not a secret that Antonio Conte's Chelsea want to add quality to their roster as they are set to play UEFA Champions league football next season. According to L'Équipe (via Sky Sport), Tiémoué Bakayoko is now inching closer to Chelsea as Conte's team and Monaco are not far off from finding a total agreement for the midfielder. Bakayoko has two more years left on his contract as Chelsea and Monaco are very close to finalizing a deal that would see the EPL champions pay close to 40 million euros for him.
Bakayoko really wants to join Chelsea and the EPL as this is his first choice. The player's agents met with the blues over the past few weeks as an agreement is practically in place between both parties as well. He would be a big add to Conte's midfield as Bakayoko has been one of the best midfielders in France this past season for Monaco. He and Mbappé were two very bright spots for the current French Champions....
