Chelsea challenge Juve with €28m bid for Real Madrid defender

Chelsea are keen to sign Alex Sandro from Juventus but the Brazilian is not the only player Antonio Conte has eyed to strengthen Chelsea’s wings. The Juventus star would become a regular starter on the left and also his former Porto teammate Danilo is being linked with a move to the Stamford Bridge.

Danilo is contracted with Real Madrid but the Champions League winners have already told the player’s entourage that the Brazilian can leave for an offer close to € 30 million.
According to La Repubblica, Chelsea are ready to make an opening € 27/28 million bid to sign the 25-year-old.

Juventus have already begun transfer talks with Real Madrid but the Merengues have rejected the Old Lady’s loan offer with € 23 million option to buy.

The player has given his green light to move to Juventus but Chelsea are also in race to sign the former Porto star. Juventus are looking for a long time replacement of Dani Alves and Danilo is in the Old Lady’s shortlist alongside Ajax’s Tete and Serge Aurier.
