Chelsea interested in PSG talent Kimpembe before opting for Luiz
The Blues had, as we’ve reported, chased just about every talented central defender in Italy, from Kalidou Koulibaly to Alessio Romagnoli and Stef De Vrij.
L’Equipe are now reporting, however, that the Blues had also asked PSG about Presnel Kimpembe.
That’s rather underwhelming for Chelsea fans, as the young Frenchman seemed to be ahead of Luiz in the pecking order, with Marquinhos and Thiago Silva the presumptive starters.
