Chelsea: Juve seek replacement for star defender, Man Utd join Lewandowski race
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has already prepared a summer shopping list and the Premier League champions are reported to be close to completing their first summer signing.
No secret that the Blues are long time admirers of Juve star defender Alex Sandro. The Old Lady has already rejected Chelsea’s opening bid but several reports in Italy claim the Blues will soon make an improve bid for the Brazilian.
Juventus are not thinking of selling the former Porto star but if he pushes to leave the club, the Serie A giants could replace him with Leonardo Spinazzola, a promising and versatile full-back who spent the last season at Atalanta.
Spinazzola should spend one more season on loan at Atalanta but according to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Ilbianconero) Juve will try to take him back to Turin if Alex Sandro leaves the club.
Meantime, the Blues are reported to have set sights on Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski who, according to the player’s agent, is ‘not happy anymore’ in Germany.
Both Manchester United and Chelsea are looking for a new striker in the summer and The Sun claims the Premier League giants will go head to head to secure the services of one of the best strikers in the world this summer.
