Chelsea make £87m striker their top priority this window amid Lukaku rumours

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will make Serie A forward Andrea Belotti his primary target this summer window amid rumours that he is in the hunt for Everton star Romelu Lukaku.

According to The Metro, Lukaku is still a target for the Italian manager, despite Thursday’s reports that he has agreed to sign on for rival Premier League club Manchester United, but ultimately the Blues manager will put his efforts into signing Torino’s Belotti.

He might face a problem, though, as the club who had a mid-table finish last season in the Italian league, have slapped a whopping £87m price tag on their goal-getter.
The 23-year-old scored 26 goals in 36 outings for his club last campaign and provided seven assists in total.

Another option for Conte is Alvaro Morata, who has grown disgruntled with his club Real Madrid. It is thought that Morata would be considered as a second option for the Blues boss, should the Belotti transfer collapse.
