Welcome to our live coverage of Chelsea-Manchester City.

THINGS TO KNOW AHEAD OF THE KICK-OFF

Chelsea have lost only one of their last seven Premier League games against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge (W4 D2), with their 0-3 defeat to City in April 2016 one of only six occasions in the Premier League they’ve lost by a margin of three goals at Stamford Bridge.

Manchester City lost both Premier League matches against Chelsea last season, with the Blues the only side to achieve this feat over Pep Guardiola’s side.

Pep Guardiola has only ever lost three consecutive matches against an opponent once before in his managerial career – he lost three in a row against Real Madrid between April 2012 and April 2014 (one in La Liga, two in the Champions League).

Guardiola has faced Chelsea seven times as a manager and failed to win any (D4 L3), more than against any other side - though one of those draws was in the 2013 Super Cup final, with his Bayern Munich side beating Chelsea 5-4 on penalties after a 2-2 draw.

Guardiola has only faced three other clubs in his managerial career without winning, all of them British sides – Everton (three games), Celtic (two) and Spurs (also two).

Since the start of last season, Manchester City have won just three of their 11 Premier League games against the other ‘big six’ sides (W3 D4 L4).

Manchester City have scored 21 goals in their six Premier League matches so far this season. Only Newcastle United (22 goals in 1994-95) & Manchester United (22 goals in 2011-12) have scored more at this stage of a Premier League season, but neither went on to win the title.
