Chelsea on red alert as Inter make improved offer Roma star

Chelsea are closely monitoring the Italian league as the Blues want to strengthen their squad for next year’s Champions League campaign. The Premier League champions are being linked with a number of Serie A stars including Juventus stars Bonucci and Alex Sandro as well as Roma star Antonio Rudiger.

The German is a long time target of the Blues. Reports in Italy claimed Antonio Conte was ready to make a huge bid for the former Stuttgart star as early as one month ago but new Inter boss Luciano Spalletti has made the German his transfer target priority for the summer.

According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport Inter are going to offer € 28 million for the versatile defender.

The nerazzurri’s opening € 20 million bid has been rejected by Roma and the Serie A giants are now ready to make an improved offer to sign the 24-year-old. Inter will table a € 25 million bid adding € 3 million add-ons.
