Chelsea ready to spend 150 million on these three players

After a slow start to Chelsea’s summer transfer campaign, the Premier League champions have stepped up the pace and according to latest reports, boss Antonio Conto is ready to fork out a further £150M to bring in three more high-profile names.
The most surprising of these three is undoubtedly Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk. The 26-year-old Dutchman has his heart set on a move to Anfield but with Liverpool still baulking at The Saints’ £60M asking price, The Mirror claims that Conte is ready to nip in and try to pinch the player from under the noses of the Merseyside giants.

The next name on the wish-list remains Juventus full-back Alex Sandro. The Brazilian star is refusing to sign a new contract in Turin and Conte is determined to get his man before the August 31 deadline. Juve are asking for in excess of £60M with Conte looking to persude Blues chief Roman Abramovic to meet their valuation.

Finally, it’s back to Italy and Italian international midfielder Antonio Candreva. The 30-year-old Inter player was being chased by his former national team boss last summer and Conte refused to rule out a move when he stated on Monday that; “It is not correct to speak about the player of another team. Candreva is Inter’s player. I have great respect for him and his team and also for my players.”
