Chelsea target gives update to his future

Chelsea target Antonio Rudiger has given an update to his future, with speculation recently linking the Roma centre-back to a move to Stamford Bridge, according the Football London.

The 24-year-old has not given a proper indication of his next club but spoke to journalists after the German won the Confederations Cup last night, beating Chile 1-0.

"It’s not about the future now… it’s now about enjoyment,” Rudiger explained.

“I need to enjoy this moment, and I’m enjoying it to the fullest."

“The rest we will see in the coming weeks.”

The Pensioners have signed goalkeeper Willy Caballero on a free transfer from Manchester City already but hope to further strengthen their defence by bringing in the German international who made a key tackle in the opening proceedings of the final.

It has been reported that Rudiger has confirmed a £33.4 deal with the Premier League champions – therefore the young defender is simply covering his tracks by acting coy.
It is also suggested that he will be undergoing a medical this week with the club.
