After a quiet start, Chelsea’s summer transfer campaign hit the headlines last week when they signed Spanish striker Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid for a fee that could eventually cost around £70M. 
 

The 24-year-olds arrival has rather overshadowed the earlier ones of German international defender Antonio Rudiger and French midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, but the aforementioned arrivals will make a huge difference to the West London club as they prepare to start the defence of their title. With 33 days of the window left however, there is sure to be more new arrivals at Stamford Bridge.
