The future of Riccardo Montolivo is still unsure considering that the player’s contract expires in June 2012 and he has refused to renew it. Fiorentina could be looking to sell in the January transfer window but it is widely reported that Montolivo has reached an agreement with Milan for the next season.
On Saturday, Fiorentina and Milan will come face to face in Serie A but Montolivo told CM.com that he is fully focused on winning this game with the Viola. “Milan are not in my thoughts. I am focused on Fiorentina and I want to win on Saturday evening,” claimed the Italian international. “I hope the fans will help us because it will be a big game and we need them to give has a hand.”
