CM SCOOP CONFIRMED: City to bid €60m for Juventus, Italy star Bonucci!
It’s not for nothing that Coach Pep Guardiola claimed that the Italian was his favourite defender a few months ago, when his Bayern team was about to face Juventus in the Champions League.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, City are ready to offer €60 million for the Bianconero, with a five-year, €8m-a-season salary. This confirms out scoop from two days ago, in which we gave the offer as €55 million.
They’re the kind of sums that’ll have Juventus trembling, as it it’s a huge one for a central defender.
And Juventus would have Bonucci’s replacement, too… by next week Juventus are set to make Mehdi Benatia’s signing official.
The Moroccan will arrive on a loan with compulsory buyback of €18 million.
