CM Sources – Ivan Perisic wants Premier League switch: here’s why

Inter’s new owners Suning want to bring the club back to the top of Italy and Europe signing big names and making Inter great again in sporting and financial terms.

Many important players have already joined the Meazza outfit, from Joao Mario to Gabigol, but new owners might found themselves dealing with some unpleasant situations as well.

Marcelo Brozovic tops the list of Inter’s troubles.

The Croat is not on good terms with De Boer and has not been called for the last few games of Inter. A sale in the January window is more than likely for the former Dynamo Zagreb man.

Brozovic’s compatriot Ivan Perisic could also be on his way out of Inter, not in January, but at the end of the season.

The former Wolfsburg man has asked his agent to look for a new team to join at the end of the current campaign, calciomercato.com’s Pasquale Guarro has exclusively learned.

There are multiple reasons why Perisic wants to leave Inter: the first one is economic as 27-year-old is not among Inter’s best paid players with even newcomer Gabigol who gets more money than the Croatian winger.

The second reason concerns motivations. Perisic wants to play Champions League football and expected to play Europe’s elite competition with Inter this season too, but the Serie A giants failed to qualify for the tournament last season.

Perisic would love to move to the Premier League and has asked his agent to prioritize British clubs even if Suning still hope to persuade the player to keep him in Milan offering him a new contract and hoping that De Boer will manage to finish in any of the top three Serie A spots.
