CM Sources – The Old Lady falls in love with Evra’s heir

The present and the future of Juventus’ left flank is called Alex Sandro. The Old Lady, however, is already looking for Patrice Evra’s heir as the Frenchman turns 36 in May and this could be his last season as a professional footballer.

Our Serie A pundit Nicola Balice has exclusively learned that Juventus are keeping a close eye on Benfica left-back Alex Grimaldo.

Scouts of the Serie A giants watched Benfica’s Feirense clash last week-end and were left astonished by Grimaldo’s first goal with Benfica senior squad.

The 21-year-old Spaniard is a product of Valencia academy, but moved to Barcelona when he was still young before completing a move to Benfica in January 2016.

Grimaldo had spent six months with Benfica B team before being promoted to senior level at the beginning of the season. Thanks to his stunning performances, the best European clubs have already se sights on him. Manchester United and Valencia have even made first contact looking for a possible January bid.

Trouble is, Grimaldo has a contract that runs until 2021 with a release clause set to € 60 million. The Old Lady has fallen in love with a possible heir of Patrice Evra and will carry on scouting him also during the next Benfica games.
