CONFIRMED: Marcello Lippi appointed as Italy technical director
“He’s glad to have reached an agreement with the Italia FA”, Davide Lippi told journalists.
“He started covering his new role yesterday and is really sorry for not having had a chance to come here today.”
Lippi, a former manager of Juventus and Inter and an Italy 2006 world cup winner was supposed to attend an event organized by the Italian Culture Institute, but had to decline the invitation due to the beginning of his new job.
