    From the Italian national team’s training camp, the azzurri’s boss Antonio Conte said: “They asked me to make things clear about my future before the European Cup, as my contract will expire in July; I talked to president Tavecchio, who is the one who chose me and who had wanted me here in the first place, and told him that I was going to leave. In October, after qualifying for Euro 2016, I was thinking about renewing my contract, but then I spent four months without doing anything, and I can’t accept to spend two more years like this, in a “garage”.
     
    “Coaching the national team has been a great experience, at the moment I am focused on the team, I am not thinking about the Premier League” he added. “I am ready to work very hard to achieve our goals. There are teams that maybe have more quality than us, but we will give our all to close this gap. I’m not saying good-bye to the Italian football, I will see what will happen. Let’s see what the future has in store for me in an Italian or foreign club”.
